Brittany has been dancing for 28 years; she has studied many styles of dance including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Cheer. Brittany began dancing at the age of 3 at a local dance studio here in Greenfield. She joined Jenny’s School of dance in 1993 before it turned into Pizazz Dance Studio in 1994. Brittany was a part of two national winning competition teams at Pizazz and danced for a total of 11 years on the team. She has attended numerous competitions and conventions throughout New England and has had the opportunity to work with some amazing choreographers over the last 20 years. Brittany was selected to dance for the Springfield Armorettes, an NBA D-League basketball team in 2010 where she performed on the court at all of the teams home games. Brittany was also part of a select group picked to dance at the NCAA Elite Eight basketball tournament two years in a row. She was a member of Eclipse Dance Company in East Longmeadow for a short time before giving birth to her son, Kellan. Brittany loves to share her passion, hard work and dedication to the art of dance with all of her students. She began assistant teaching in high school under her mentor, Beth Foley and has been teaching at Pizazz for close to 15 years. Her choreography and her students entertaining performances have been recognized at many local competitions over the years. Brittany is looking forward to being on staff another year at Pizazz and having the opportunity to pass on her love of dance to all of our students.
