2017-2018 Dance Year

Welcome to Pizazz!

I am so excited for the 2017 dance year. Classes start on September 11th. Doors will be open 15mins before the first class. Please remember only dancers will be allowed in the dance room and on the dance floor. We do have a very large kid friendly waiting room with an observation window for viewing. This will help with our shy dancers feel more comfortable in their class. There is coffee up at the desk for you and sometimes snacks below the microwave to enjoy while waiting.You may drop off dancers and run errands if needed. We will have Sr company dancers in each class for extra hands, ears, and eyes so your child will never be alone.

Tuition

Please make sure tuition is paid the first week of each month. There is a tuition box near the desk that you can safely leave in there because it is locked. If you have cash please leave in an envelop with dancer's name on it and the date. Also please put the dancer's name in the memo of the checks.

Parking

Please park on the streets or you can use the church parking lot across from the studio/pizza place. Last year we did have some parent’s cars towed being parked in Walgreens or in the parking lot where the house had burned down. Please do not block any driveways or use driveways esp the one next to the studio to turn around in.

Please double check the schedule there has been some changes in times made but not many.

Bring your friend to dance will be the week of october 23rd-27th this will allow dancers to bring their friends to dance class and they can dance with them in their class.

Dress Code:

All hair needs to be pulled up and out of face.

Ballet- Tights, leotard, and pink ballet shoes

Tap- Black tap shoes

Jazz and Lyrical- barefeet

Hip Hop- barefeet or clean sneakers

All dancers must wear clothes they can move in. Shorts and tank, leggings and a shirt or tights and leotard. Please no jeans or dresses (dance dresses are ok).

Company and Precompany- Tights, leotard, shorts if you want, and hair must be in a bun or in french braids

 

Snow days or for any cancellations will be posted on our Facebook page, website www.pizazzdance.com, email and WHAI.
