April is right around the corner which means it is costume month!!!
I will be getting costumes ready to pass out to dancers (April 8th week). All tuition from Sept -April must be paid in order for costumes to be sent home. Dancers will need to wear a leotard and tights that week as they will try their costumes on over their leotard. This will happen at the end of classes.
Shoe and tight list is posted for each class. Please remember as there was some confusion with tights if you are in multiple classes and some classes need stirrup and some need footed you only need to buy stirrup Tights that way you don't have to change your tights at recital! If you need me to order you tights please fill out a form located at the desk. Payments for tights are due when you order
Summer dance weeks are starting to fill up. Please make sure you fill out a registration form online and pay your deposit to hold your spot! We offer two fun filled weeks!
Recital information and packets will be going home with all dancers before April Vacation! Please keep an eye open for those. As they will have your finale tshirt order forms and your ticket order form!
We will again have a digital recital program. If you want your dancer’s name listed in the program please write your dancers first and last name on the list located at the desk. This will be available April 8th week
Our recital will be filmed Sunday this year and we will only be doing digital copies this year. I will have a sign up sheet at the desk. $35.00 and you will receive your digital copy of the dance recital! It is a great way to hold on memories and share with friends and family who couldn't make it to the show!
Our dancers have been working hard to finish their routines for recital and to be comfortable enough to do it on stage! Please make sure everyone is practicing at home as well. We will start videotaping and posting routines online for dancers to practice!
We would love to offer a hair and make up tutorial class this year to help. Would you be interested in joining? This would take place at the dance studio on a Sunday afternoon. You and your dancer would come with hair and make up stuff and learn how to do a bun for recital. We also will be selling bun kits again $5.00 located at the desk when we get closer to recital. More information to follow if we have enough interest
