Welcome 2025-2026 Dance Year

Information

Welcome 2025-2026 Dance Year. we are very excited to get back into groove of things and meet new dancers! Summer is coming to an end and school and activities are starting back up! We are every excited about our upcoming dance year!

Dance Starts the week of Sep 15th. Doors will open 15 mins before the first class. Please be respectful to staff opening the studio as they are getting it ready for the day!

We do have a nice large waiting room for parents, siblings and friends to hang an wait and have a small observation window. We ask adults with dancer 2-4 to stay during the dance class. all dancers 5 and up we encourage drop off! We also ask dancers try or use the bathroom before thier dance class.

All dancers should have a dance bag with everything they will need for class. Any dancer doing any combo class will put their tap shoes on first and bring their bag in with them with their other shoes to change. Dancers will stay in the classroom and teachers will change their shoes with them. We ask parents to stay in waiting room during transition time. After class dancers will get a special treat from the teachers and walked out to the waiting room. Any dancer 4 and under that needs to use the bathroom during class will be brought out to you in the waitng room. Older dancers are able to go on their own with permission.

The first couple of classes dancers will be getting to know their teachers, their classmates, and exploring their dancing space. We will go over all rules, and show everyone the studio and bathrooms and everything they will need to thrive at the studio.

It can be very hard for dancers to try something new and its ok. We will do our best to make it easy and fun for each dancer. If you dancer is shy and refuses to dance its ok, we encourage them to still stay in the class or in waitng room and watch the class... its like sticking your toes in the water beofre jumping in. Again we are here to help each dancer and their needs. We are also good with the bandaid trick as well, just let the teachers know what works best for your dancer. If younger dancer is really shy and needs a stuff animal or something they can. Please dont feel bad or embarrassed it happens to everyone and please don't give up. I always say give it about 6 weeks for dancers to adjust and get into a routine.
